More About Barbara
I came to The Netherlands, alone, at age 24, to open a
sales office for my US company. For 18 years, I worked in the international corporate sales sector. However, as the high salary and material luxuries increased, I lost myself in them and forgot what really matters.
My interest in spiritual development grew, even through the eyes of materialism and ego. My intuition started calling to me but I did not listen.
It got louder and I turned away. I wanted the rolex watches, expensive vacations and bonus checks. It grew so loud at one point that I suffered a dramatic burnout from workplace stress, which took a great deal of time to recover from.
That got my attention...
A love for selling/customer service/public speaking, and a curiosity for all things spiritual, have given me the chance to combine my talents and interests in the creation of Authentic Matters.
Today, I am A Spiritual Teacher in a Business Suit and Workplace Meditation Expert.
I don't teach about buddist meditation, or transcendental meditation or any fancy mountaintop ideas. I teach down-to-earth meditation techniques to people to use in their everyday lives to help them find more peace of mind and centeredness. I want to help other stressed out people to avoid sick leave and burnout as a result of stress. Meditation is the key to self mastery.

Pathways of Light Ministerial Counseling Training Program to become an Ordained Ministerial Counselor that are based on the teachings of A Course in Miracles.
LATEST NEW! I have taken on the position of Chapter Leader of The Netherlands Chapter For Spirit at Work. This is based on the International Association for Spirit at Work that encourages people to set up local chapters that facilitate discussion about spirituality in business. It will meet once a month in the Hague,The Netherlands
I am married to a Dutchman, have two beautiful children and am crazy about Palamino horses and Bernese Mountain Dogs.
